Isabella is finally here!

So as I am sure you all have heard, and probably have seen many pictures, Isabella was born on Monday May 25th. She weighed 6 lbs. 12 ounces and is 20 1/2 inches long. She is perfect in so many ways and everyday we fall more and more in love with her. Here are just a few pictures of our baby Bella!

Update

Just wanted to update you on the baby progress. All day today I have been having contractions. They have been 20 minutes apart most of the day, just the last hour or so they seem to be coming closer together, more like 10 minutes apart. But still not consistent or too painful yet. So hopefully this is the beginning though! So we are just patiently waiting now. Come on bella!

Baby Update

So I went to the doctor today and found out that I am only 1 centimeter dilated. My doctor said that even though I am only 1 cm. my cervix is starting to soften and Isabella has dropped in a head down position. So things are starting to happen even though I was hoping I would have her by now. So now we just wait and see when she is ready to come. We have another appt. next Thursday with our doctor, but we are hoping that we don't have to go and will have her before then. My doctor said it is hard to say, she could come today or she could hold off until next week. I have to hold off now until at least Friday because Joe has to have his wisdom teeth out Thursday, but after that I am so ready to have her here! We will keep everyone updated!

She's not here yet!

So as you all know Isabella is still not here yet! I am now 38 weeks and I am trying to be patient and wait for when she is ready, but I am soooo ready for her to come. I have definitely enjoyed being pregnant, but I am now ready to meet my little girl and I am done with the pregnancy symptoms. They will check if I am dilated when we go in next week to the doctor. I just don't feel like she is going to come any time soon. Well at least I know this won't be much longer, but lets all hope it is sooner rather than later! We will let you all know when something happens!

Isabella's Room

We have been working very hard and we finally have Isabella's room done! It started months ago with Joe painting and him and his dad putting up the chair rail and framing the window. Then Joe had to put all the furniture together. And then it was my turn to come in and decorate and organize. It was a big task getting all the clothes, blankets, etc. washed and put away. But we are finally done. Now all we need is Isabella!

Ana turns 21!

Wow my sister-in-law Ana just turned 21 on Friday! I can't believe it. I remember one of the first times I met her was at her 5th grade play, which she was very good in. And now she is in college and can go out and buy her own drinks!
